During sparking, a high voltage is constantly applied between the terminal and the main unit bracket. High voltages try to leak along the surface of the insulator and flashover is more likely to occur if the required voltage between the spark gaps is high. In order to prevent flashover, insulator corrugations (folds) are provided to increase the insulator surface distance between the terminal and the main fittings to ensure insulation and prevent flashover. |

[How is it used?
I made the mistake of purchasing a Plug with a high thermal value as a Plug for CD50.
Was the one you received as per Image?
It is the usual Plug, so it is as per Image.
Was the installation difficult?
It is easy to replace with Plug wrench.
However, if it is a compatible car model, but…

I have not been able to use it yet because I purchased it by mistake.

When you get out of shape, it's best to go back to OEM. Or OEM if you want to keep the performance.

The ignition seemed to be bad, so I opened the plug, and as expected, it was pitch black.
I cleaned up the ignition area a bit and the Engine was a bit more stable.
It's not expensive, so I decided to change it in order to find the cause of the problem.
