By changing to the super oil pump, the discharge volume can be increased by about 35% from the stock.
By circulating a large amount of oil, the cooling performance is improved and the burden of parts in the lubricating section is reduced.
In order to increase the strength of the pump itself, the thickness of the plate has been increased and the number of bolts connecting the bothy to the plate has been increased.

If you decide to run a big bore kit and an oil cooler then you definately want a high flow oil pump. The takegawa pump has worked without issue for around 10,00 kms now.

Looking to mod the bike in the future so whilst servicing the bike cleaning the spinner and gauze this upgrade makes sense. Provides more flow than OEM and is so simple to replace. This is constructed much better than the oem oil pump. It appears to be made of high quality material. I have installed more than one of these and they all fit perfect with no modifications. It came packaged very good and had no damage. Also comes with a cool sticker!
