*Even if a seal material is incorporated without a ring, coolant may spurt out at high temperatures due to insufficient sealing pressure, and thicker O-rings, etc. may fall out inside when the rubber deteriorates. *To control the water temperature, please install a water temperature gauge and put a gummed tape on the radiator. *The manufacturer does not handle the sealant alone. Please order stock HONDA parts.

Same type of engine: For CRF250L, CRF250M, CRF250 Rally
Ring for sealing when the thermostat is removed to improve cooling effect and reduce waterway resistance. The sealing rubber is diverted from the stock thermostat. Take care not to damage or cut the seal rubber, remove the rubber, apply a thin layer of silicon grease, and install it into the ring.
The thermostat is located in the upper left cover of the cylinder head. After the seal ring is temporarily attached to the thermo cover, it is installed on the head to complete the work.
[Cooling water temperature control method] Each engine has its own "best water temperature" at which it can show its best performance. In addition to the exhaust and oil characteristics used, ECU characteristics, correction values, and the characteristics of each circuit are taken into account, and the "best water temperature" changes with subtle modifications depending on the rider and the course. Especially, it is greatly influenced by "oil temperature" and "oil viscosity", and "best water temperature" and "best oil temperature" are closely related. When you are doing "distance run-in" in a fully mature run, a test run, or a break-in run of a new vehicle, install the water and oil temperature gauges to find the "best water temperature" at which you felt the best engine feeling, and record the difference between the "oil temperature" and the "water temperature" at that time, and use it for fine tuning in each season. In the case of ST250 / CBR-CUP where oil cooler cannot be used, oil temperature tends to rise in summer. Therefore, in the hottest season of summer, aim at "lower than the best water temperature" to keep the oil temperature in the best condition. On the contrary, in winter, the oil temperature tends to be lower, so keep the water temperature higher than the best and make efforts to spread the lubricating oil to the whole engine. Water temperature is controlled by applying duct tape to the front core of the radiator to reduce its efficiency. From the top, put up "one row" or "half, 1/3...", and control it according to the temperature and humidity. By keeping the data, even if the race regulations do not allow the installation of an oil temperature gauge, you will be able to get closer to the "best temperature" of the engine by controlling the water temperature using the past data. As you can see, water and oil temperatures are closely related to four-stroke racing engines, whether they are single-cylinder or four-cylinder engines. Please learn the importance of the basic data in the class, and make an effort to "lower the water temperature as much as possible" when the oil temperature is high, and make an effort to "maintain the high performance for a long time" by controlling the water temperature when the oil temperature is low.
