In the market for a new air filter needed for Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. Having had the OEM ones before, I thought this would make a change to try a DNA branded one, never used their filters before on Royal Enfield bikes. I have had other non OEM air filters before and not been overly impressed. Decided to go for a change. The price was really good for a DNA and a better price than I have seen here in the UK. I had other items in the order, this meant the shipping was cushioned somewhat and very reasonable. Delivered by EMS fast service within a week of placing the order. Everything was well packaged really well and arrived at my door within a week of ordering. The outer box was sealed which I am happy about as I did not want any of my purchased parts escaping the box during transit. Also, Webike take the liberty to fill in any empty space in the box so nothing can become damaged with movement. Everything arrived safe and sound. It can be a proper pain to remove all the necessary parts before you even get to the air filter, but it's worth the effort. After removing most of the top body work, the air filter is relatively easy to install, it's putting everything back which is annoying. The filter itself looked really good and a proper piece of kit. This YZF-R125 came in for a service which included air filter, oil filter and oil change. I decided to go for the DNA filter over the OEM one because they are top class air filters and last a long time. I have never found them to be anything less than the quality of the standard OEM filters and do not have any less performance. This is replacing the OEM Yamaha one which came on the bike when the customer dropped it off. By the looks of it, it has not been changed for a while. I honestly do not understand how some people manage to run bikes without the slightest notion of maintenance. Finding the correct filter for this bike was easy too, I checked on Webike website and this showed the models that fit each filter. Really easy. I had other items in my order and this then cut down the shipping over the entire order. I use EMS fast service which arrived at my door in 5 days. All the items were packaged really well and bubble wrap and air pockets were used to fill any space in the box. Webike even tape the outer box on all sides so nothing can get in or out. The filter arrived in perfect condition and did come pre-oiled which is also nice so you do not have to mess around the first time. Fitted in about half an hour total. The final result was perfect. A little bit of standard maintenance for the XMAX300. Nothing major, just a simple oil filter and air filter change along with fresh oil. Having used a few of the DNA filters lately we went for the one for this XMAXX300 too. Not really much goes wrong with these bikes, they really are built to last. As I have used DNA for a while now, we went for this brand to see any differences. Anyway, finding the right parts for this bike was straight forward and I used the help tools Webike provide and cross referenced with DNA website to make sure I had the right filter for this bike. The price for the filter was excellent and better than could be sourced locally. I had a few other parts for other bikes in my order and got them all shipped using my favourite courier, EMS. The price for the shipping is really good and my order arrived in 5 days. The element arrived in the DNA box and was wrapped in packaging really well. Not really much to look at but the quality is plain to see from DNA . All the pleats were very well placed with no deviations. A little refresh on the rear caliper of this older bike was due and a couple of the parts were needed. One of these included a new slide pin as the old one was worn and notched. The end was also a little chewed up after multiple removals. I found the right part by searching through Yamaha schematics for this model and year. The slide pin was easily gained using this method. Webike did have 2 of these in stock at the time of ordering so there was no wait time at all. The price was really good value too which made this order even sweeter. In just 7 days from being shipped the order arrived. The outer box was secured with tape all the way around. The inner contents were packed out using bubble wrap and everything was in perfect condition. The slide pin itself came in the standard Yamaha packaging. Yamaha have not really changed this method of securing the brake pads on the rear calipers for a long time during this period, my only gripe is that they could have made the finish a little more pleasing to the eye. I had been looking to spruce up this Monkey when it came in with a genuine Honda Monkey emblem on the right panel of the bike. Yes, I could get them printed at a local store but why do that when you can get hold of the genuine Honda ones as cheap as this. Not a hard part to find once you know the size you need and a rough model of bike that this is for. This was the side panel emblem which did not need to be the exact same as the other side as I was also buying the left hand side anyway. Along with the left hand side decal and some other parts, all shipped together by EMS and delivered in 7 days. Everything in the package was packed neatly and securely and these were kept flat as you don't want bent emblems. They look super slick and crisp edges makes the world of difference. This genuine Honda Monkey emblem is a gorgeous black outer edge with accents of red to go with the bike's colour scheme, the inner is crisp white. It is a flat but slightly gel looking decal/emblem and all the colours are super clean too perfect. I have had some in the past for other bikes that look slightly grey on the black part but not these, perfect match for the bike colour scheme. Now this is on, the bike looks like a proper machine. This bike was in for a service and a general check over before the annual MOT. After checking under the seat for any problems , I found that the battery band was snapped and not doing as it should do. The battery really needs to be securely fastened in as these bikes do have a bit of clearance under the seat. The best thing to do was just get a new genuine Yamaha one and be done with it. I checked Yamaha schematics for the right sized band and found the same item on Webike website. The price was very cheap and better than could be sourced locally. I did have a few other parts for this bike which needed to be ordered so I got them all shipped together to save time and money on the shipping cost. EMS is my chosen courier and they just get my orders to me fast. In 7 days my order arrived. All the parts in this order were expertly packaged and there was no damage to anything. This battery band came in the Yamaha packaging and was very well packaged. The band itself is a rigid but flexible rubber and really good quality throughout. The band is actually moulded and is exactly the same as the old one minus the split. The connector ends are well placed and secure. Fitting is easy, with a simple loop over. Very happy customer. This small bike had a problem with the rear brake switch and it turned out to be just the spring that actual failed on it. I have no idea how this happened but the spring itself had been broken. Not a massive problem now it is in the garage as I can fit a new one. Finding the new rear brake switch spring was not overly difficult when you use Honda schematics to narrow down you criteria. The price was excellent value and far better than could be sourced locally. I had a few parts for this rebuild to ship so got them all together. I used EMS and all arrived in perfect condition in 7 days from shipping. The spring arrived well packaged and no issues. The spring itself looks extremely sturdy and very strong as it should be really which puzzles me how the original one broke. The finish is a nice satin silver but looks like it does have some coating on. Probably to help with road debris and salt etc. Fitting is tough if you do not have the right tools for the job as hooking over the second prong is a tricky task. Once fitted, brake switch now returns as it should and holds firm. That is the completion of this job. Great part, great service, thank you. View Detail
