Used as Front tire of XR 230. Originally I like Tire for more Off, but considering the reality that I have to run over a paved road 50 km to run 5 km of forest road, it turns ON / I had no choice but to compromise with dual use.
ON / OFF dual-use Tire has both Dunlop and Bridgestone, but this time I chose IRC by saying that it is standard adoption to CRF 250.
We also chose Cost performance, but the reason for the cheapness is for Thailand factory. It is the second time to buy IRC's Thailand factory Tire, but it looks dirty. It is supposed to be Brandnew Tire but it seems that it is second hand Small dirty. This seems to be due to the release agent applied at the time of manufacture, but anyway Small is dirty and shabby.
Even at the same Thailand factory, in the case of Tire made by Dunlop, there is no such contamination.
Well, although it is the performance of Tire itself, the Tire weight is slightly lighter than Dunlop D 605.
Whether Tire stiffness is also slightly higher than D305, it is hard and difficult to combine.
I did not want to scratch Rim, I got together with RimCover, but it was quite handy. It does not fit easily like D 605.
Since it is unusual for OffTire to specify the direction of rotation, it is necessary to look carefully and incorporate it.
Driving performance is only OEM designation, there is nothing wrong.
No concern with On. Off does not collapse unless Motorcycle is laid down.
If the forest road is not rough, Large is strong, but people who want to ride in earnest think that Tire for Off is better as well.
Tire's Round ratio is moderate, so you can use the Tread side widely. It is mental hygiene that you can use up to the edge of Tread.
Used in combination with RearTourist for self-propelled mountain fun, 40% in the mountains and 60% on paved roads.
IRC made. I think the life performance is quite good because it doesn't decrease at all even if I drive long distance at high speed.
However, it seemed to flow slowly in the middle of the song, whether it was on or off, and it did not suit my fee ring.
I ended up riding it for about mid 3000km and replaced it with another Tire, even though the mountain was still there.View Detail
The Rear is still Tourist, but I thought it was the most suitable method for us. I will continue to use the Rear as Tourist next time, and will keep the Rear at 70% On and 30% Off.View Detail
Tires that are often OEM-mounted on domestic trail bikes are all capable of performing almighty performance both on and off the bike. D605 has the best on/off balance and durability and is a safe choice, while TW301/302 are a bit more on-road oriented and have more frontal straight-line stability on gravelly forest roads. The result is that the number of the "A" series is somewhat lower than the number of the "B" series. The GP21/22 are designed to be fun to drive off-road, especially on course-like dirt surfaces (dry condition).
Specifically, the GP21 on the front is less slippery when cornering on dirt surfaces, while the GP22 on the rear slides quickly. Even though the rear end is slippery, it is also controllable, allowing the driver to enjoy dirt sports driving with peace of mind. The fact that two or three current Japanese TRAIL models are OEM-specified for this tire may be a message from the manufacturer that they want their users to enjoy off-road driving. I have the impression that it has good grip and stability on gravel surfaces, making it safe for touring on forest roads.
On the other hand, on the road, the front end of the car is a little unstable, shaking sideways when driving straight ahead, but this is not a problem if it is not a concern, and there is no problem when driving on highways.
The most significant minus point is that the GP22 in the Rear is losing power very quickly. The attached image shows the condition after about 5,000 km of driving. The Front can still go, but the Rear is no longer usable for off-road use.
Overall, I think this Tire is ideal for people like myself who do not want to sacrifice on-road performance, but want a little Plus Dirt performance on top of that.View Detail
The tires that came with the car when I bought it were getting chunky, so I replaced them at the same time as the tires.
The Shinko SR244 that came with the bike when I bought it was also a good tread with no complaints on paved and unpaved roads despite its retro look.
It might be good for SCRAMBLER-like Motorcycle.
However, there is no Tubeless in the size of the Rear tire of SL230, so I chose GP21 to match the GP22 that I chose in the Rear tire.
I've used the GP21 and 22 on the XLR125 and had no complaints, and most of all I like the Pattern (lol).
It's my standard tire because it's affordable and Webike offers a high Point return rate.
I think it is safe and necessary enough because it is a standard installation Tire of CRF250L and KLX230.View Detail
I installed it with Honda CRF 250F as being OEM adopted. I was surprised that the Grip at Dirt is better than I thought. Another Motorcycle is a Tourist, so I did not expect so much, but it stops at Dirt. However, I felt Cornering was not that strong. Instead, the ride on On road is very good. I felt it was the perfect Tire for the touring and for a bit of the forest road. I thought that the car height rose as the outer diameter seemed a little Large. Air pressure is ManufacView Detail
