Item arrived in good condition, both front and rear brake pad has been fixed onto my bike, used it for about a month, the braking power is improve, quality of brake is improved too, consistent even when its both cold and hot.. highly recommend for safety reasons!

■SP Compound
Sintered compound for rear brakes.It is characterized by a particularly high frictional efficiency in all operating conditions.
The properties of the compound are similar to those of the SA compound, but it has been optimized for rear brakes based on the conditions required for rear brakes.

By offering a wide range of compounds, from sintered to carbon ceramic, Brembo is able to meet the needs of all disciplines: racing, road, off-road, street and scooter.
The compounds normally used for brake pads can be classified into two systems: sintered metal and organic.
The choice of which compound to use is not solely determined by the intended use.
Different compounds of brake pads can be used for the same application.
■Sintered: SA,LA,SP,SX,SD,XS,GENUINE
A compound produced by compressing metal powder mixed with a lubricant or abrasive at high temperature.
It can be bonded to back plates of any shape without the addition of adhesives in the production process.
The performance of the metal powder is the decisive factor for braking power at high temperatures.
Lubricants help to stabilize the entire braking process and abrasives keep the brake discs clean.
■Carbon Ceramics: RC,CC,TT,GENUINE
It is mainly composed of resin binder, metal powder, lubricant, and abrasive.
The coefficient of friction is determined by the resin binder and metal powder, and the lubricant and abrasive perform the above functions.
■Selection of compound
Every brake pad has its own specific application.The choice of compound depends on the various situations that the brake pads will be dealing with.
For racing use, the brakes must perform at their best at high temperatures, while for street use, the brakes must be highly stable when applied at medium to low temperatures.
■Bite
To check the Initial fitting of brake pad is a particularly important process for all compounds, and is particularly important for racing RC compounds.
Apply the brakes lightly several times with a short interval between the application of the brakes to complete the fitting of the brake pads.
At this time, do not try to force the temperature up by braking.
These generate the correct heating and cooling cycles necessary for the brake system to perform satisfactorily.

I have been using Brembo onn all my bikes and I also recommend to others.This set are for my Yamaha Yzf R1 2017 rear but also fit other Yamaha models.Super asy to find which pads you need for your bike. Go to Brembo and put your bike details in and it shows you the item number code. Really good price and a better than I can get from here in the UK even as a full set. I always order multiple items per order and then the shipping was cost effective.I used FedEx Express and the order was delivered to my door within a week.all items in the order were packaged really well and any spaces in the outer box wee filled out with extra padding. The pads came in their own packet which was sealed. These pads are just awesome. These will make you stop far better than some other brands in the same price range.
